Hehehehe... so I just remembered something that happened at the Evol fashion show. so while Vector was rapping a girl called Osarugwe told him 'I want your cap'. She was referring to his red cap in the pics that has a Lagos inscription. Vector then replied 'I actually have two of those,the one on top or the one on below' and she replied 'the one on top' and Vector said 'the one below is actually on top, so which top you referring to'‎. He gave her the cap at the end tho

The Evol fashion show finally geld today after much anticipation. The event was a great success though the African time no be here (show we suppose start by 2 started by 7:30pm). I was present at the show and will bring more pictures and videos. Meanwhile enjoy this shot of Vector, and y'all missed out.

One Uniben student shot, another axed down at 500lt inside UNIBEN

Sad news! So while most people were enjoying the weekend on Friday and probably at the face of hall 2 event, I heard from reliable sources that on Friday, 23rd of October, one student was shot down at 1000lt and another axed at 500lt, a few minutes apart. Eyewitnesses say two people (probably students) were seen ‎running away from the scene i.e 1000lt before the shot body was found. Reports are not clear but it seems the 1000lt victim might have died and the 500lt victim survived. Details are pretty much sketchy at this point and the victims were not identified as at the time my sources got the info. It is not clear if the two happenings are related. I pray for peace for Uniben in this time(second semester).

The much anticipated face of hall 2 held yesterday 23rd of October. The grand event which was hosted by TG Banks and organised by hall 2 excos and House of Epitome began at about 5:30pm. It featured music, comedy, and dancing from different performers in Uniben. The face of hall 2 contest had a couple of stages starting with the casual wear, the traditional attire and the dinner outfits. The top 5 was then chosen from the 11 contestants. The winner was picked by the judges after the five finalists had answered 2 general questions which were "describe yourself in one sentence " and "what you would do if you were the winner of the competition ". A winner was then crowned, with contestants 6, Oge and 5 coming second and first runner ups respectively. The winner, Isoken, is a 200lvl sociology student.

The fun filled show was graced by the SUG President, his sec gen and othermembers of the cabinet.‎ The show was a general success as order and decorum was in place due to the presence of Man O'war.

Today's beauty of the day is Sandra Moor. The pretty damsel is a 200lvl student of Linguistics. I have to say she is really stunning, absolutely thought she's a mulatto but found out she's purely Nigerian and igbo too.

Halls of residence to be renovated

‎According to GETGRIPNG blog, exclusive information is that halls 1,2,3 and 4 would be renovated after the second semester exams. The SUG rooms were recently renovated with furniture and refrigerators put in all rooms. If this comes to pass, then I say oshe baba!

By the way today is the grand finale of the hall 2 week and the face of hall 2 would be holding today at the hall 2 car park

Today's Hottie of the day is Susu. I should probably write a long epistle on how long it took me to get this photo and how I finally got it by chance but I'm tired joor. Anyway he won Mr Macho during the past keystone week. Hot right? And yeah the name is Susu

New hostel project to commence beside hall 5

‎Recently saw the ground levelling done beside hall 5. That is the commencement of work for the new hostel that would be built. Hopefully this is not for medical students. 

I just hope it will be ready before I graduate

Meet UNIBEN artiste, Chiblaze

Chiblaze was born in 1994. He started at a very early age singing in the church choir. He is a 300lvl Law student and probably Uniben's most promising artiste‎. He was at the verge of being signed to tuface idibia's hypertek music before he got admission to study in Uniben... he is from ebonyi state,Nigeria.
