A thief who has being tormenting the lives of Hall 2 residents was caught on Saturday 25th May. According to eye witness report, at about 11pm, a female student who was busy at block D, sighted the thief, who's crew is popularly referred to as Clementus, tip toeing after jumping over the hall 2 fence. The student immediately reported to the security staff at hall 2 who promptly began a thorough search of the hostel for 'Clementus'. Seeing that he's game was up, the thief then decides to escape as both students, security staff and porters are in search of him. Clementus then manages to jump over the fence again. Accounts say that passers by along the hall 2 - education route helped with the chase and caught the thief. Students then surrounded him as he was dragged back to the security post at hall 2 and thoroughly beaten! Accounts say that he's clothes were ripped apart as students struggled to get their pound of flesh. Well, thank God that a 'Clementus ' has being caught! As much as this has taken place many times, I sincerely hope this will reduce the rate of robbery incidents at hall 2 so the students can have peace!
