Uniben student gets shot in the head at the Biometrics exercise!

This afternoon by 2:45pm, at the Uniben sports complex, a student was shot in the head during the Biometrics exercise in the midst of the crowd. Unconfirmed reports say that the shooting took place in an area called Rays world in the sports complex.

The unfortunate event took place during the Engineering, life sciences, physical sciences and Pharmacy biometric exercise. 

The student was hurriedly taken by the ambulance and his state of health is not currently known as some rumors claim that the student is dead while others claim that he is not.

His identity and department is yet to be known and so is the motivation for the killing as various explanations have come up since the incident. I have heard some rumors that the victim is an engineering student but as I said it's a rumour.

The biometric exercise has being shot down for the day and it's continuity tomorrow is highly in doubt. Some accounts claim that the computers being used for the Biometrics was scattered and the officials took to their heels.

The details of the incident is still sketchy but I will bring more details as I intend to speak with an eyewitness who was standing just behind the victim at the shooting. I really pray he survives meanwhile I neva do biometrics oh! And I left the complex few minutes before the shooting. I weep in igbo!
