Nigerian students have received with mixed feelings the news of the suspension of the strike. UNIBEN SUG President, Mr. Osasere Osifo said: "It is good that the strike has been called off, but I am not necessarily jumping for joy about it, because we have already lost so much. Who will compensate us for the six months that we have lost? As for the results of the strike, only time will tell whether the sector will be better for it. ASUU said that they were fighting for our good, so now we will watch more closely to see how the results of the strike will benefit the sector and Nigerian students as a whole."
