NUSSA 2014 | University of Benin

The University of Benin, will be hosting the next edition of Nigeria University Stafff Sports Association Games, tagged NUSSA 2014. The University of Benin last hosted the ganes in 1985. The 10^th edition of the games, was helod at Kano University of Science and technology Wudil Kano in 2012.

The objectives of the games are:

·         To imbibe in the University staff the culture of regular exercises which will enhance physical fitness, and higher productivity.

·         To reducing tension and stress associated with routine work.

·         To promote friendship from outside one's University, thereby encouraging national unity, peace and harmonious living.

·         To co-operate with other sport Bodies at National and International levels.

·         To enhance the image of the Nigerian Universities.

·         To foster National Unity.

Membership of the Association is open to all Nigerian Universities – Federal, State and Private. Admission is however, subject to the fulfillment of the conditions as laid down by the General Council from time to time.
