2014 NUSSA games comes to an end

The University of Benin hosted the 2014 National Universities Staff Association Games.

The tournament which took off on the 3rd of August 2014 ended on the 9th of August 2014.

 

 The Vice Chancellor, University of Benin, Professor Osayuki Oshodin, who was represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academics, Professor (Mrs.) Obehin Okojie, Oshodin urged management of universities across the country to explore the friendships that could be generated through sports across universities. This she said during the opening ceremony. 

 Over 1000 delegates from about 33 tertiary institutions participated in the games, sports include Atheletics, 

Badminton, Basketball, Chess, Cross Country, Darts, Discuss, Draught, and Golf.
