UNIPORT Pre degree form admission application form 2014/2015


University of Port-Harcourt (UNIPORT) is inviting qualified and interested candidates for admission into it 2014/2015 academic session pre-degree programme.for admission into it 2014/2015 academic session pre-degree programme.

Candidates Eligible for UNIPORT Pre-Degree

The Pre-degree Programme is open to applicants with a minimum of five (5) Credits in not more than two sittings in English Language and other relevant subjects [in GCE, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB & TC II (TC II is applicable for applicants for Faculty of Education)].


UNIPORT Pre-Degree Course Duration

The Programme is for a period of one year (one academic session).

,click on application procedure and follow the instructions.

 ii.                   Application Forms can be obtained online on payment of non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand, Six Hundred and Fifty Naira (

N

10,650.00) for School of Basic Studies and Faculty of Education respectively; and Eleven Thousand One Hundred and Fifty Naira (

N

11,150.00) for Faculty of Humanities, at the designated Banks listed below, nation-wide.

UNIPORT Pre-Degree Application Closing Date

            

The closing date for application is 12 midnight on Wednesday, 22

nd

 October, 2014 for School of Basic Studies; and Friday, 3

rd

 November, 2014 for the Faculties of Humanities and Education, respectively.


 UNIPORT Pre-Degree Screening Exercise

The Screening Test will be Computer-Based and shall be conducted as follows:

The Venue shall be ICTC, the University Park.


NOTE: 

To transit to the Degree Programme, in addition to the required 5 Credits, the candidate

must

 ·         PASS THE PRESCRIBED PRE-DEGREE EXAMINATIONS

 ·         HAVE THE APPROPRIATE UNIFIED TERTIARY MATRICULATION EXAMINATION (UTME) SUBJECT COMBINATION AND

 ·         HAVE THE NATIONAL MINIMUM SCORE IN THE 2015/2016 UTME AND MUST HAVE CHOSEN THE UNIVERSITY OF PORT HARCOURT


Materials needed for the Screening Exercise:

Candidates are required to come with the following and be at the Venue by 8.00am.

 -          A clear copy of Photocard printed online

 -          Biro, HB Pencil, Eraser

-           Non-programmable Calculator (Programmable Calculators of the FX – 991ES Series, Mobile Phones, IPOD and similar gadgets are not allowed at the screening venue).
