SUG election result

The Student union Government election of the great university of Benin might have come and gone but the drama that greeted it before and after will forever linger on the mind of everybody.

The election were many people tipped one of the leading aspirant named Efianayi Idahosa Samuel to emerge winner might just soon be regarded as a failed imagination. The election which was conducted today was however very peaceful as were no form of any intimidation from any quarters.

The security officers actually carried out their functions as stipulated in their ethics of conduct, on their part, the students who happen to be the electorate conducted themselves in an orderly manner to actually portray that democracy is further stepping up in Nigeria.

 Officially Mr. Ifidon Ikhide from chemical engineering department emerged the winner with respect to the position of the president, while the vice president who happened to be unopposed, Omoruyi Winifred was also victorious, others include: Mr. Precious as Secretary General, Okolie Ferdinand as Director of welfare, Obaseki Gift as Public Relation Officer.
