Is your watch working?

An episode I had in the main library inspired this post. I was reading my books when the thought to know what the time was crept into my mind, I asked a tall, dark guy sitting opposite me what the time was and I got this long reply

      

       "You see my watch just developed a fault. But when I left the hostel it was 7:45 and I have being here for like 15minutes so it should be basically 8:00pm right now"

 I could not believe my ears oh, I had only asked for the time and not the story of the coming of Jesus. My point is, why wear a watch that does not work? I have being guilty of this a couple of times shaa, but I noticed it's very common amongst students. Watches are very cheap, if yours spoils just simply replace it. Shikena!
