The main library was agog on Saturday,18th Jan, when it's ground floor almost went up in flames. Reports say the fire was as a result faulty electrical wiring. The fire was put out in time by the UNIBEN fire fighters.
History almost repeated itself when another fire almost started out on the first floor of the library, today, 23rd JAN. The cause was a bad light connection. Luckily for the library occupants as at the time, the problem was quickly taken care off, before it resulted in a major incident.
P.S: na today I know say UNIBEN students are faster dan Usain Bolt, only smoke and they almost caused a stampede!
